Job Search
Thursday, December 7, 2006

I've had alot of people always ask me,
"Can I please have a job?". Seems quite a few people want to work and be involved in the clothing industry, but in a place that's a laid back surfers style. Well, after a long time of thinking.. i've come to a descision where I want a worker. I'm only looking for
one! Someone who is capable of doing the job, and someone who isn't going to splurge out what's coming.
Basically it's modeling/organising a model to model my new releases, and put the pics on my vendors.
You will need a little experience with photoshop. Not a great deal, can be the most basic experience possible. As long as you know how to use the magic wand tool, change fonts, mask and select which layers to show or hide, you'll be fine.
Here's how it works. I'll give the person who gets the job, a version of my vendors in PSD format, (with the background locked of coarse), along with the font I use on the vendors, and premade prices in different layers that you just show or hide according to the price i'm going to sell the item for. You will need to either use yourself as your model, or organise/get me to help you organise a model (obviously if you're a girl, you'll need a male model) to take photo's of while wearing my items, and take the photo's of them.
You'll then need to cut out the white background, and place the items on the vendors in Photoshop, and accordingly select which price I want on the vendor, and also change the heading accordingly to what the item is called. Pretty simple, and though it might sound a bit much in words, it isn't, and the first one or two vendors, i'll go through with you and train you personally.
Benefits of what you'll get is L$250 PER vendor. So if I release a series of 8 polo shirts, in different colours, i'll need a vendor for each. 8x250 = L$2000! Not to mention getting anything in the store, plus all the new releases, FREE.

Isn't it good getting paid to do put your legs up, kick back and relax? Well I certainly think so, and i've made it possible at Reaction! Thanks to LostDogs famous money chairs, i've chucked the sketchy looking counter in the trash, and laid out 6 new bean bags for everyone to kick back on, socialise and get paid for it! Just think, you go shopping, instead of standing in the middle of the shop like a deadbeat zombie, and zooming around with your cam, you can kick back and get paid for it too!Well head down to Reaction, invite your friends and kick back for a bit. The chairs don't bite, and neither do I. If i'm there, I might come sit and chat with ya's, you never know... getting on my good side can often result in lots of freebies too!Labels: free, money
